How it works
- Launch. One name, ticker and picture become two real pump.fun coins, name A and name B, created in one instruction. The pad's program is the creator of both.
- 24 h battle. Both trade normally. Only the last 6 h count: the time-weighted average of real SOL in each curve.
- Collapse. The universe with the higher average becomes real. The other's pot moves to the winner's buyback, and its holders convert into the winner in daily rounds.
The battle
Anyone can take a reading (observe_pair): it reads the real SOL in both curves. A new reading counts once at least 30 s passed since the last one, and each reading covers at most 120 s of the window. Inside a reading's revise window a new reading can only lower it, so a pump-read-dump bundle is undone by one honest reading. A flash pump at the last minute counts for at most 120 s of the 6 h: it has to be held, not flashed.
Decide after the end, once the newest reading is final. Higher average wins. A tie on the average is decided by the newest final reading ("decided by the last reading"); a full tie goes to A. Decide never reads live SOL: if nobody took a reading, decide waits for one closing reading taken after the end (after the end exactly one new reading is accepted; later ones fail with "battle over", which is normal). A coin whose curve completes and migrates before the end wins at once.
Collapse
The loser's pot (its 35% of creator fees) moves to the winner, which uses it to buy back and burn its own token in small chunks (one every 300 s). The loser keeps trading on pump.fun; its 35% share of every later fee also goes to the winner.
Conversion rounds
- Deposit loser tokens into the open round (from 1 token). Withdraw any time before its conversion time.
- Convert. At conversion time the whole pile is sold on the loser's market in small guarded chunks and the SOL buys the winner.
- Paid. 10% of the bought winner tokens is burned; each depositor gets
amount x net / depositedto his own winner account. The keeper pushes payouts; anyone can.
Up to 7 rounds, one every 24 h. The rate is the market at conversion time: nothing is promised. A big pile moves both prices; depositors get what the pile sells for.
Fees
- Launch fee 0.02 SOL per pair (both coins).
- Creator fee of both coins: 40% dev, 35% pot (winner buyback + burn), 15% $VERSE buyback + burn, 10% treasury. Collected from the curve and from PumpSwap after migration.
$VERSE
15% of every creator fee accumulates for $VERSE. Once $VERSE exists, the admin proposes its mint, anyone accepts it after 24 h, and from then the bucket buys $VERSE in small median-guarded chunks and burns every token.
The dev buy
Two coins with two dev buys only fit one transaction if the dev buy lands in a token account at a program address (["devtok", pair, side]) instead of your main token account. That account is owned by your wallet: only you can move its tokens. Wallets and pump.fun's page read your main account, so to sell the dev buy there, move it first (Mine: "Move dev buy to wallet", one signature; the emptied account is closed and its rent comes back). Dev buy cap: 1 SOL and 5% of the supply per universe.
Numbers
Trust
- Program VrsSY4ku32n7FPAVAsYeZK57nvwu3W9h7BDfPCmsUD2 (upgradeable; audited before launch).
- Admin can pause new launches, change future params (24 h timelock), rotate roles (3 day timelock) and set the $VERSE mint once (24 h). No power over pots, escrows, bought tokens, deposits or who wins.
- Keeper has no special power: every crank (readings, decide, rounds, payouts, buybacks) is permissionless and has a button on this site. A dead keeper only delays.
- Params are copied into each pair at launch: a later change never touches a running pair.
Risks
- The conversion rate is the market. A big pile drains the loser and buys the winner up; traders can position ahead of the public daily flow. Each chunk is small and price-guarded; in a crash a round waits until prices settle.
- If pump.fun or PumpSwap sells stopped working for good, a round already converting could not finish (no withdraw after conversion time).
- pump.fun, PumpSwap and Token-2022 are upgradeable by their owners.
- A wallet whose token account cannot receive stalls only its own payout; it can sign one to another of its accounts.
